Pay-Per-View Preview: Survivor Series
Who’s gonna be in attendance? Meeeeeeee!
The card:
* Triple threat match for the WWE Championship: Triple H vs John Cena (c) vs Shawn Michaels
* Triple threat match for the World Heavyweight Championship: The Undertaker (c) vs Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Big Show vs Unified WWE Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho
* Batista vs Rey Mysterio
* Team Kingston (Mark Henry, MVP, Kofi Kingston, ECW Champion Christian, and R-Truth) vs Team Orton (William Regal, Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk)
* Team Morrison (Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne, Intercontinental Champion John Morrison, Matt Hardy, and Finlay) vs Team Miz (Jack Swagger, Sheamus, United States Champion The Miz, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler)
* Team Mickie James (Eve, Kelly Kelly, Divas Champion Melina, Gail Kim, and Mickie James) vs Team Michelle McCool (Jillian, Beth Phoenix, Layla, Alicia Fox, and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool)
Predictions:
* WWE Championship: I want to see the Heartbreak Kid win. Save for one house show, and my first Survivor Series, I’ve never seen him win. He is my absolute favorite, and I would LOVE to see him with the title one more time. Alas, I know it’s not in the cards. Of the three men in the match, I fear he is least likely to win. In fact, I think Cena retains here thanks to either some DX miscommunication, or them straight-up turning on one another. Obviously, miscommunication seems most likely. Sigh. Cena wins.
* World Heavyweight: Another tag team vs one dude scenario, only this time, the tag team isn’t presenting a united front. I can get behind that. A true triple threat. We can rule out Big Show. Come on, it would be a horrible decision. People will pay to see Taker kick ass, they will pay to see Jericho get his ass kicked, but they ain’t paying to see Big Show. This is an instance where I want a title change. Give it to Jericho! Will it happen? Again, I doubt it. Seems like a title retention is the safest and most likely scenario. Taker wins.
* Batista vs Mysterio: Finally, Batista is interesting again. It had been too long. I haven’t cared about him since he was beating up King BOOKAH. I have read rumors that Rey is nursing some injuries. If true, time off seems likely, and it would give Batista some serious momentum if he can put him on the shelf here. Look for that to happen. Batista wins.
* Team Orton v Team Kingston: I like Team Orton. All 5 of them. I like Christian on the other side, and am warming to Kofi, but I will be supporting the heels here. I am sad Punk is stuck here, and will be sadder to see him tossed by the wayside early on as the crowd cheers. Kofi got freakish momentum at MSG this week, and I wonder if WWE is ready to push him to the moon. Sticking with what works (Orton) is not only safer (though I hate safe), but the right decision in my view. As for how many survivors? Orton lives to be the sole survivor. Let it happen here. Orton wins.
* Team Morrison v Team Miz: I am still torn. Miz went over at Bragging Rights, which wasn’t a total shock. Will they let Morrison get even? Judging by the teams, I might say no. McIntyre is undefeated, and Sheamus is just about undefeated, so how to get rid of them? A DQ could work, but I hate that in an elimination bout. Argh. I don’t know. Miz needs the win more in my view, and Raw could benefit from putting Miz, Swagger, and Sheamus over as legit badasses. Miz wins.
* Divas: Mickie has to go over, obviously. The more intriguing thing for me? What Beth Phoenix does. I wonder if she’ll attack Michelle in order to assert her dominance. I say she does. Please do! Mickie wins.
There you have it. I hope it’s a good show. The rest of you, try and enjoy it!

It’s after midnight where I am, this counts.
* Unified WWE Tag Team Champions JeriShow vs World Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker and Kane (Brothers of Destruction) in a non-title match
What an awkward shot of Kane. Those are very obviously not his arms crossed in front of him. How odd.
