Today’s SOTD: John Cena

I get more pleasure out of John Cena’s “YOU CAN’T SEE ME!” taunt than anything else. It’s so easy to do. I had to get a shirt that celebrated the slogan. Besides, it’s a mockup of the old AWA logo. I approve.

I try to avoid shirts with the wrestlers’ pictures on them as they are harder to pull off in public settings.

I have the hat, too. I marked out at the surprise return at the Rumble, overreacted, and bought the Cena package. I also have the wristbands and dogtags.

Fun fact: Due to the little white stars placed all around the shirt, I constantly feel like I need to pick at lint that’s not actually there.

First shirt I ever owned, and it was a gift from one of my friends. This is why I’m a Cena fan, and why I have so many damn shirts now. Thanks, Richard.

Like a broken needle, kid, you missin’ the point.
I used that line in an argument with my brother once because, as the lyric suggests, he had no point. I was proud of myself until he mocked me for using John Cena lyrics to defend myself. There were no winners that day.

The Ringside Review - The Wrestling Blog that is Not Ashamed of its Cena Fandom
Seriously. His workrate ain’t great, but NO ONE works harder. Yes, they push him down our throats, but at the end of the day, he loves the business and it shows. Besides, he seems like a decent enough guy. You think it’s his fault that they keep putting him in the main event? He showed that he’s willing to work with guys like Miz to build em up, so kudos. Unlike Triple H, he puts the business over personal gain, so he has my respect if nothing else. The haters can suck it.

Cena and Orton cross paths at SummerSlam 2004. It may have been the first time, but certainly not the last…
